Beauty Haul!

Hello! This post, and the many more to come are actually scheduled posts as I recuperate from surgery. To take everyone’s minds off me being at the hospital, allow me to indulge a little and display this lovely haul I gathered from the last few weeks, with the most recent being from a few days ago (thank you, Mummy!)

I spy four blushes in this haul…. The blush addict in me is showing for sure!

Starting with skincare / body products:

From left: Clarins Gentle Exfoliator, Alpha-H Balancing and Pore Refining Mask, L’occitane Almond Shaping Delight, Biore UV Perfect Milk SPF50 PA+++, Mario Badescu samples with pouch

A little bit of skincare. I purchased the Clarins Gentle Exfoliator as Caroline Hirons raved about it. I also happened to be on the lookout for an exfoliating toner so why not give it a go?

Alpha-H’s Balancing and Pore Refining Mask was purchased at a steal from Luxola’s sale section. With it came the Mario Badescu hair samples and pouch. Hehe.

L’occitane Almond Shaping Delight was a gift from Mum as a gentle but in-your-face reminder to shape up.

The Biore Perfect Milk sunscreens were purchased from a pharmacy a few weeks ago. I think they were on offer or something…. Thought I’d give them a go as it says on the box: NON STICKY. Just what I need!

From left: Tarte Amazonian 12-Hour Clay blushes in Peaceful and Exposed, Tarte maracuja creaseless concealer in Fair, Benefit Bathina, Clinique Cheek Pop in 04 Plum Pop, MAC Patina Eyeshadow, Make Up For Ever Pro Finish Powder in shade 113 and Make Up Forever HD Blush in shade 210.

Thought you’d like to know that the Tarte Amazonian Clay blushes are travel sized ones! I picked them up during one of my very rare trips to Sephora quite a while ago. Then, I also picked up the Tarte creaseless concealer and MUFE HD Blush, something I’ve been dying to try but have yet to set my grubby fingers on. The Clinique Cheek Pop was an impulse purchase (thanks, Lily!) and MAC Patina eyeshadow is one of my favourite YouTuber’s favourite (hello, Tanya). Many of you would know that I stay away from MAC stores in general as I’ve had such bad experience with the make up artists there but on that fateful day, I just strolled in, asked to see Patina eyeshadow, said “I’ll have one”, paid for it and walked out of the store. Yes, it’s another impulse purchase, oh deary me.

The Benefit Bathina and Make Up For Ever Pro Finish Powder are gifts from Mum, just before I headed back to the hospital for the second time. the MUFE Pro Finish is something I’ve wanted for a very, very long time but I have so many pressed powders at home (lost count now, +____+) so I’ve been refraining from it. But thank you, Mummy! Benefit Bathina is errr…… Something I’ve never used before but it doesn’t mean I won’t ever try it. =D

Holler if you’d like me to review one of these items and I’ll do my best to oblige! =) Thank you for reading!
