What’s on my mind #1

I wanted to name this column Lusts of the month. Or Monthly Lemmings. Then I remembered I have a tendency to digress loads. Yours truly is quite the chatterbox so she loves going on and on, mostly about nothing at all.

Hence the title.

So I have a never-ending lust list. It’s so bad for the pocket but oh-so-good for the soul. =D

Then again, I’d share little bits of joy, sorrow as well as little snippets of what’s been going on in my life.

Are you ready?

Read on to find out more!

I’ll start off with the make up side of things so those of you who aren’t keen on hearing me rant can click away immediately after! 😉

I received a whooping 20% discount code from Zuneta last month and uhm-ed and ah-ed over getting a Blush Kaleidoscope (about time, no?)…. I decided against it. Instead, I ordered a Creme fresh tint for Lips and Cheeks. I’m now wondering if I made the wrong choice!

In any shade. Intense or not. It doesn’t matter but one needs more Chubby Sticks!!!

I swatched this at a counter and was drawn towards how creamy, bright and shimmery this looks. If possible, I might want to try this on the inner corners of my eyes to give me that ‘wide awake’ look. =D

I’m starting to run low on my MUFE HD primer so I’m currently on the hunt for the next face primer I can get my grubby hands on. Am tempted to repurchase the MUFE one as it’s worked so well for me but the Laura Mercier one gives me 50ml for RM139 (or thereabouts) whereas the MUFE one costs RM155 for only 30ml of product. 😉

Now, onto the life side of things…

I’m moving towards my third month of proper employment. People (okay family) always chide me whenever I say this is my first proper job but heck, it sure is! I am now a taxpayer, receiving EPF contributions from my employer as well as being a contributor myself, starting to look around for ways in which I can claim as much taxback as I can (I’m sure you already know this but I am so happy I can finally make tax claims for my parents’ medical bills) *touches wood*

Then comes work. More serious issues ahead! I’m happy with what I’m doing, but a fear of everything being so expensive is really getting to me! I’ve been trying my very best not to spend unnecessarily (hello, makeup) but on top of that, everything seems to cost so much now that I’ve got to foot the bill. :p Food’s expensive, for starters. Then there’s petrol. Utility bills. I live at home but I want to contribute too! I do not drive yet so I try to help out with petrol bills and everything else.

Where does this leave me to pay for a car / housing loan?

T__T

It’s so upsetting. So very upsetting. I now understand why so many aunties and uncles turn to buying 4 digits in hopes of winning that elusive Jackpot prize.  =D

    Hi there,

I know this is not relevant to your above post but I just wanna ask if you had ever seen any Bioderma product in KL before?

I wanted to try Bioderma Sensibio Cleansing Water but I think it’s not available in KL at the moment but in Singapore only.

    Thanks!

Hi, I don't think I've seen Bioderma around! I usually order mine from the UK xx
