February Favourites!

Hello March!

This year, I have embarked on some kind of plan. No, it’s not a makeup ban. Been there, done that and failed miserably. So I decided I will not impose a ban on my poor poor self. Should I see something I like, I have to give it a week’s breather before asking myself if I really like it. I’ll only purchase the item if I really, really like it! Good enough? 😉

Then again this does not work if the product is a Limited Edition one… sigh!

I have been shopping my stash lately as I have been trying to use stuff up so here’s what I’ve been liking last month!

Kiehls Ultra Facial Oil-free Gel Cream Shiseido Maquillage Makeup Base Dalacin T Dior Diorskin Powder Foundation Benefit Coralista

1. Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream (review)

It’s been a year since I last used this product but I decided to repurchase this as I’m now living in a humid climate and I want a light day moisturiser just so my skin doesn’t oil up before noon! This does just the job and at RM100, this didn’t break the bank either. 😉

2. Dalacin T

I went through a horrific period late last year where my skin decided to go crazy. Completely crazy. I could not leave home without wearing industrial-strength concealer. I was tempted to purchase Dermablend. Or any kind of paint that covered those painful red zits up. The dermatologist prescribed this to me, together with Differin but I like Dalacin T for day time use as it goes on transparent, unlike Differin which leaves a film over the spot. This product earns a spot in my monthly favourites because… It helped me heal this behemoth of a pimple just before CNY.

3. Shiseido Maquillage White Repair Essence Base UV

I use this daily under powder foundation and this helps the foundation stay on longer!

4. Dior Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Sculpting Powder Makeup in Beige Praline 020 (review)

A long time favourite of mine! I chucked this aside for awhile but have recently picked it up again and this has been my go-to powder foundation for work as it just about covers up the redness on my skin and makes me look polished, or so I think. =D

5. Benefit Coralista blush

A pretty coral blush that happens to be the very first blush I’ve ever owned! =) I am shopping my stash indeed. 😉

Have you tried anything from the above list? Do you have any February favourites to share? =) xxx

Hmm … The Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream sounds good. Maybe I should try it someday since the price isn’t steep. xD
